The logo of Saphia Alkaline Herbs is more than just a brand symbol—it embodies a proud story of the Vietnamese people. At the center of the logo is Mrs. Phuong Dung, wearing a white lab coat, representing the dedication of a devoted scientist. In her right hand, she holds a green branch—symbolizing medicinal herbs—and in her left, a test tube—representing scientific research. Upon her head is the traditional Vietnamese conical hat, symbolizing that she is not only a scientist but also a daughter of Vietnam, carrying the spirit of “serving the nation.”
The green branch in the logo does more than grow—it blossoms into sapphire-blue diamonds. This signifies the essence and refinement of Vietnamese herbal medicine, like a “green gem” admired by the world. Surrounding Mrs. Phuong Dung is a diamond-shaped frame, reinforcing the idea that her scientific innovations have crystallized into timeless values, offering pride not only to herself but also to the Vietnamese people, reaching out globally.
This spirit of scientist Phuong Dung is reflected clearly in her four verses:
“I want to be a pine, standing tall in the storm.
I don’t want to be a flower, blooming in fragrant gardens.

“From the very first brainstorming session, I was captivated by the unique story behind Saphia Alkaline Herbs. It’s not just a herbal product—it’s the crystallization of indigenous culture and the pure values of Vietnam’s natural heritage,” Ms. Trang recalled.
After many challenging rounds of pitching, the S River team continuously explored and refined their ideas to create a design that was not only visually appealing but also emotionally resonant. What impressed Ms. Trang the most was the image of “The Hero” — Scientist Phuong Dung — with her aspiration to bring the essence of native herbal remedies to improve public health.
“That image stood out clearly, like a guiding flame for us. It wasn’t just a source of inspiration—it was the emotional spark that gave me and the team the determination to see this project through to the end,” Ms. Trang shared.
The uniqueness of the culture, the value of indigenous herbs, and the pioneering spirit of Saphia Alkaline Herbs shaped an emotionally rich design journey—where every line and detail on the packaging tells a story of perseverance, creativity, and deep professional passion.
