1. Ionized Alkaline (Electrolysis)
Ionized alkaline water is created through electrolysis, producing alkaline water and acidic water at two separate electrodes. This type of alkaline water is formed by electric current and quickly loses its alkalinity when exposed to the environment.
While manufacturers claim it can reach a pH of 8.5–9.5, actual testing of commercially available ionized water often shows pH levels between 6 and 8, with poor stability over time.
